What Is Church Membership?
The universal church of God is made up of all believers in the church age, but Christ has organized that larger body into local expressions that can practically operate as a body that is gathered together.
Membership to a local church is a willing commitment to worship and walk together according to the will of Christ; giving up themselves to the Lord, and one to another.

Becoming a Member
We offer a class called “Grace 101,” which will help new folks get to know our members and leaders so they feel more comfortable entering into a covenant relationship with the church. This class is not required to become a member, but it is helpful to make one familiar with the church.
The class which is required for membership is the Membership Matters class. This class summarizes much of the 101 material and also explains church polity and practice (i.e., who leads the church and why we do what we do).
Below are a few documents that will help one become familiar with what we confess and practice as a church.
It will also give the elders a chance to get to know you as they interact with you throughout the class.

Contact the office to find out when the next Membership Matters class begins.
